April 2026 5.00Jake's place was the perfect landing place for our time in Pittsburgh. There was tons of space for our family to spread out, the beds were super comfortable (with the thoughtful touch of sound machines in every bedroom which we really appreciated!) and was in a great location to walk around a fun neighborhood with plenty of shops and places to eat (be sure to stop by Cafe Moulin for a crepe!) Jake was incredibly kind and responsive, and we will definitely choose his place again when we come back to Pittsburgh. Thanks for a great stay!!

April 2026 5.00The house was lovely, clean and nicely decorated. The only problem was that there was only one thermostat on the first floor and that the second and third floors were very hot on an 85° day. There should be a split heat/air conditioning split units the bedrooms. The basement was cool enough, however. The only other recommendation would be for bedside reading lights in the master bedroom. The sconces are pretty, but not suitable for actual reading. We enjoyed walking to restaurants and shopping very close to the house.

March 2026 5.00The house was perfect for my family's short stay in Pittsburgh to look at colleges and visit the city. The house was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-stocked as described. Parking in the back was very easy as was requesting a variance from the City of Pittsburgh by email to park on the street in front. The location is perfect for walking on Walnut Avenue to explore shops and eat at Shadyside restaurants. Jake's communication was excellent. I would stay there again and definitely recommend it to others.

February 2026 5.00We loved this stay! We were in town visiting our Pitt student. We always try to stay in Shady Side for the great location and now this tops the list. House was clean, spacious, well appointed and the bright Palm Springs decor was a mood boost. Restaurants, shops and coffee just a short walk away. Convenient onsite parking. Awesome communication with the host. We cannot wait to stay here again!
