We really enjoyed our stay! The house was comfortable, spacious, and in a great location. Shadyside was a wonderful area to stay in, with plenty nearby and easy access to everything we wanted to do around Pittsburgh. It worked especially well for our family and gave us plenty of room to settle in and feel at home. Overall, we had a great visit and really appreciated having such a comfortable home base for our time in Pittsburgh. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Fantastic location, walkable to restaurants, bars and shopping. The house is great for a family plenty of room to have your own space and had ample common areas. Having a parking space in the back was convenient.

Jake, Indeed is a super host. He was prompt, responsive and friendly. He was available throughout the stay for any questions, he would like his guests to have a peaceful and joyful stay, which is a rare quay and would love stay again and recommend anyone to stay for sure.

Great location with off street parking. Our family of 6 adults and 2 infants had plenty of space and the unit was well supplied with everything we needed. Jake was pleasant and responsive to all our communications.

Home away from home! Very beautiful, edgy, modern decor. There was more than enough space and the amenities exceeded expectations. My son, who has austism, loved the colors and textured theme rooms. He doesnt sleep well in new environments, however, this was the first time he felt comfortable and sleep with no issues.

it's very lovely place. in our trip 3 families stayed for a night and al the kids loved it. though we had very little time to stay, we felt relaxed moment we stepped in the house. huge hallway, comfortable bed rooms (including in the basement) very great kitchen. thank you for your support throughout Jake.

Exceeds expectations every time!

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend with friends at the Palm Springs Retreat. It is beautifully decorated and very spacious. Even with a party of ten people, the house did not feel cramped. The kitchen and living room were great communal spaces. Everything was super clean, and we really appreciated having private bathrooms and showers in each room. The neighborhood is very walkable, with lots of great bars and restaurants nearby. We’d love to come back again sometime!

Jake's place was the perfect landing place for our time in Pittsburgh. There was tons of space for our family to spread out, the beds were super comfortable (with the thoughtful touch of sound machines in every bedroom which we really appreciated!) and was in a great location to walk around a fun neighborhood with plenty of shops and places to eat (be sure to stop by Cafe Moulin for a crepe!) Jake was incredibly kind and responsive, and we will definitely choose his place again when we come back to Pittsburgh. Thanks for a great stay!!

The house was lovely, clean and nicely decorated. The only problem was that there was only one thermostat on the first floor and that the second and third floors were very hot on an 85° day. There should be a split heat/air conditioning split units the bedrooms. The basement was cool enough, however. The only other recommendation would be for bedside reading lights in the master bedroom. The sconces are pretty, but not suitable for actual reading. We enjoyed walking to restaurants and shopping very close to the house.

The house was perfect for my family's short stay in Pittsburgh to look at colleges and visit the city. The house was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-stocked as described. Parking in the back was very easy as was requesting a variance from the City of Pittsburgh by email to park on the street in front. The location is perfect for walking on Walnut Avenue to explore shops and eat at Shadyside restaurants. Jake's communication was excellent. I would stay there again and definitely recommend it to others.

We loved this stay! We were in town visiting our Pitt student. We always try to stay in Shady Side for the great location and now this tops the list. House was clean, spacious, well appointed and the bright Palm Springs decor was a mood boost. Restaurants, shops and coffee just a short walk away. Convenient onsite parking. Awesome communication with the host. We cannot wait to stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay! The location is unbeatable—it’s incredibly walkable and just steps away from everything we needed. The space itself was spotless and so uniquely designed. One the best places I’ve ever stayed

We had a wonderful stay at Jake’s home. The house was beautiful, spotless, and exactly as pictured. It comfortably fit our large family, and the layout worked perfectly for everyone. Our two little ones especially loved the cozy nook under the stairs—it became their own little “clubhouse,” which was such a cute and memorable part of the trip. Jake was an exceptional host. His communication was fast, kind, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, including helping with the back door lock and even arranging for a baby gate to be delivered the same evening we asked. His attentiveness and hospitality made our stay so smooth and stress-free. The home was very clean, well stocked, and comfortable in every way. Parking and check-in were simple with the clear instructions Jake provided. Overall, this was a great Airbnb experiences. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone visiting here.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The house had all the amenities and the space to accommodate our large group, the surrounding area had lots of great shopping and restaurants, and Jake was an incredibly proactive, responsive, and friendly host.
